    "I've got an idea!" cried Christopher Robin suddenly.
    "Listen to this, Piglet," said Eeyore, "and then you'll know what we're trying to do."
    "I'll take off my tunic and we'll each hold a corner, and then Roo and Tigger can jump into it, and it will be all soft and bouncy for them, and they won't hurt themselves."
    "Getting Tigger down," said Eeyore, "and Not hurting anybody. Keep those two ideas in your head, Piglet, and you'll be all right."
    But Piglet wasn't listening, he was so agog at the thought of seeing Christopher Robin's blue braces again. He had only seen them once before, when he was much younger, and, being a little over-excited by them, had had to go to bed half an hour earlier than usual; and he had always wondered since if they were really as blue and as bracing as he had thought them. So when Christopher Robin took his tunic off, and they were, he felt quite friendly to Eeyore again, and held the corner of the tunic next to him and smiled happily at him.

Thanks! :) If you know anyone who might be able to make me an icon, let me know. I want to have one that has the scene of the gang catching Tigger as he jumps out of the tree, along with some (short) line about Piglet's excitement over the blue braces.

I don't believe there was an illustration to go along with that scene, but I found something and made this for you. It's small, because of the icon having to be 100x100 pixels. You would have to find someone to draw you the actual catching of Tigger, but again, because icons have to be so small, I don't think it would be very clear what was going on.

That's a great icon - thank you very much!! I love that illustration!

There actually is an illustration in the book of the catching Tigger scene - on the last page of that chapter. As you say, it may not be clear what's going on in the scene if it's shrunk down. One thing I thought of is to use just part of the scene - like just Christopher Robin in his braces or just CR and Piglet.

I found a version of the illustration online that looks like it's a scan from the book that got flipped, and it's at http://www.knowmadz.org/gallery/pooh/rootig.htm. Unfortunately, the original drawing (and this flipped version) is not in color. I have a large framed print (given to me by

marag when we were in college, actually) of the illustration that had color added to the scene (by whatever company marketed the print, I guess), and the blue of the braces really makes the reference make sense. One thought I had was to try to find a small colored-in print to buy and then scan it in.

I also found another artist's rendering of the scene, on her page (http://www.half-asleep.com/pooh/learn/cast/tigger.html), and I'd have to ask her permission to use it of course (which I'm doubtful she'd give judging by her disclaimer page).

If you have any further icon advice, I'd be interested to hear it. Thank you again! I included your lj id in the keywords and the comments for the icon.
